I’m a stay-at-home mom of five, but let’s be honest—stay-at-home is the biggest misnomer of my life.

Frankly, I’m allergic to staying home. Or more specifically, I break out in hives at the unmistakable sound of a thousand Legos crashing to the floor, the bickering that somehow begins before breakfast, the 38th snack request before 10 AM, the ever-repeating "I'm Bored" anthem, and—most notably—the tornado of destruction that leveled my living room in the 18 seconds I dared to run to the bathroom.

On the other hand, I LOVE to go, go, GO! I live for the REAL experiences my kids have when we're out in the world. I thrive on meeting people in my community. I treasure the quirks, character, and hidden gems of Carlisle, Boiling Springs, and Shippensburg (and beyond!).

Whether it’s hiking in Pine Grove Furnace, paddleboarding at Children’s Lake, exploring history in downtown Carlisle, treasure hunting at the farmer’s market, cheering on the Greyhounds, Eagles, or Thundering Herd, or finding the best spot for post-adventure ice cream—we’re here for it!

I love hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, arts, sports, and all the unique experiences our region has to offer. And I want YOU to have all the best family-friendly scoop at your fingertips!
