2026 West Shore Halloween Guide

Trick-or-treat nights, pumpkin celebrations, Halloween parades, trunk-or-treats and delightfully spooky family fun west of the Susquehanna.

Last updated September 4, 2026 • Check back often as more Halloween events are announced!

Dust off the costumes, locate the plastic pumpkin buckets and prepare to discover candy wrappers in your couch cushions until approximately March. Halloween season has arrived on the West Shore!

We've rounded up some of the biggest Halloween celebrations happening in Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Enola, New Cumberland, Boiling Springs, Dillsburg, Shippensburg, Newville and communities across our side of the Susquehanna.

This guide focuses specifically on Halloween fun: pumpkin celebrations, parades, trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treats, costume events and spooky family happenings. And we went hunting for some of the wonderfully weird stuff too, because sometimes you want Halloween candy... and sometimes you want to watch Spider-Man run a mile, solve a downtown mystery or trick-or-treat among show cars.

You'll find our full calendar of even MORE local Halloween events at the bottom of this guide.
