National Night Out turns the simple act of meeting our neighbors into something powerful. Police officers, firefighters, emergency responders, community organizations and families step outside the places where they usually encounter one another and spend an evening talking, playing and building connections.
Most communities celebrate on the first Tuesday in August, which falls on August 4 in 2026. Mount Holly Springs is holding its celebration later in the month on Saturday, August 15.

Newville National Night Out
Newville has been building its National Night Out tradition since 2010. The police department describes it as a free community evening filled with food, games, prizes, inflatables, music and family activities, with participating agencies and businesses helping children learn about first responders and their equipment.
