This past weekend we had a Happy Family Lunch Party for some local families. There were children ranging in ages from a few weeks old up to 10 years old. I was little concerned about the age ranges of children attending because I had thought that Happy Family carried only baby food. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the options that I had to share with guests of all ages.

Prior to the party we made some recipes from The Happy Family Organic Superfoods Cookbook For Baby & Toddler. We made Chocolate Chip Bananna Quinoa Muffins and Cauliflower Macaroni and Cheese. We struggle a lot with trying to get our children to eat healthy, especially vegetables. Typically my oldest daughter will only eat green beans and corn. With the delicious recipes in the cookbook, both of our children ate cauliflower and quinoa (willingly). I have been planning dinners and snacks from the Happy Family Cookbook several times per week and haven't heard any complaints!
The Happy Family Cookbook is loaded with great information including key nutrients, serving sizes, gluten-free cooking, instilling healthy eating habits and so much more. I wish I had this Cookbook when my children were babies as it may have been easier to get them eating healthier earlier in life. The Cookbook is available through Amazon and is also on Kindle.
During the party, we prepared the Sunflower Seed Banana Flax Maple Wraps. I really love how this recipe combines great taste with a great variety of nutrients and is also peanut and tree nut free. All of the recipes we made could be gluten free with a few recipe alterations (which the Cookbook provides). The children assembled Savory Super Snack Mix and Sweet Super Snack Mix before leaving.
