Still looking for a summer camp? Kings View Acres has availability!

Camp starts August 5th, and you can still sign up your child(ren)!

So registering for summer camp may have completely slipped your mind or maybe everyone could use a change of scenery. Introduce your child to the joys of horses! Campers will work on horsemanship skills, learn how to ride one of their lovely school horses, play games, and make horsey crafts!

  • Programs for kids ages 5-18
  • General programing is 8:30a-12:30p
  • Full day add on option - Students may add on additional hours to their camp day.  Instruction will end at 12:30, but students can stay for the rest of the day.  There will be supervised activities such as grooming horses, barn chores, feeding,  etc. Campers will need to be picked up around 5:00 pm.

This camp is open to anyone of any level who has not attended a KVA class yet. Various instructors will meet the students where they are ability wise. Students will work on horsemanship skills, riding skills, and participants will also learn about parts of the horse, colors, etc. Students will play games and make horsey crafts, too.

Students will be required to wear long pants, shoes with a small heel, and bring a water bottle and a packed lunch.

Leading and handling the horses
Grooming
Tacking Properly
Health Care & Nutrition
Proper Use of Seat and Leg Aids
Proper Use of Reins
Balance & Coordination While Riding
