The Jeffrey W. & Jo Anne R. Coy Public Library of Shippensburg is part of the Cumberland County Library System and is housed in the historic 1880 George Stewart House. The first floor of the library hosts adult fiction, nonfiction, DVDs, audio books, and periodicals. A new Children's play space was added in 2017. The second floor has a Teen Area and Reference Collections.
A Community Room is available for community groups.
The library has Wi-Fi throughout with computers available for internet access and word processing.
