Get ready for a buzz-worthy adventure! In this hands-on pollinator workshop, kids ages 5–10 will learn how bees, butterflies, and other pollinators are the real MVPs of our ecosystem. From flower facts to fluttering fun, this interactive event will spark curiosity and teach young nature lovers how these tiny creatures make a huge impact on the world.
Expect fun games, creative activities, and a whole lot of nature-powered discovery—perfect for budding environmentalists and energetic explorers alike.

This workshop is hosted by the Shippensburg Community Parks and Recreation Authority (SCPRA)—a local gem providing incredible nature-based programming for families. The event will be held at Furnace Run Park, a gorgeous 226-acre oasis in Shippensburg with trails, wildlife, and a brand-new Nature Center designed to connect kids with the great outdoors.
Make it a full evening—explore the park, snap some sunset pics, and let your child grow their love for science and sustainability.
